CLAIRE MULDOON
Claire will be your host/organiser for the events. She will be 'eclectic' in her choice of artist at ABM offering an experience; a taste with different artists and their chosen medium. Claire believes working alongside other artists where ideas can be spun off each other is an important part of an artists development.
Claire Co-founded CAST THEATRE 1965, with her partner Roland Muldoon and was responsible for the choreography of the company. She organized national tours for CAST and functioned both as tour manager on the ground as administrator at base as well as performer. Became administrator and programmer of the New Variety Circuit; Planning, programming and publicising Five London Venues; This organisation was responsible for reopening of the Hackney Empire in 1986 where she became head of programming. She remains Board member of the Hackney Empire Preservation Trust.
Studied for a BA in Fine Art Practice at Guildhall University 2001 using video projections. At present working with London Met University and the Women's Library with ten artists on an exhibition 'PAGES' for Autumn 2007.
