ALDOUS EVELEIGH

Aldous is a painter who lives and works in London. He teaches painting and drawing at Middlesex University. Has had a tremendous amount of solo exhibitions and commissions has designed theatre and opera productions throughout Europe and Australia. His most recent work could be heard on Johny Brown's mining for Gold Resonance 104.4 fm 'Drawing on the Radio' A sound piece performance for voice.

Mapping perception - what gives us the picture we make of the world? The idea of Aldous Eveleigh's painting is to chart the optical, conceptual, and emotional levels that serve, or control, the way we view the world.

The fee is £150. Inclusive of lunch x 2 and a three course evening meal, together with some basic materials.

Aldous will help you loose any inhibitions you have about drawing..  Whether you are experienced or just beginning - he will open up new ways of seeing and encourage a variety of techniques.

You will need to bring:

At least three different sorts of materials both wet and dry

First Day:

drawing with black; chalk/oilpastel ink.

Second day:

Paint in Yellow,Red, Blue, White and Black and variety of brushes.
